Totem poles and mannequins

Yeayyy back from home. I finished colouring this in some late-night restaurant, life is that sad. Uploading commissions and trades tomorrow.


I was drawing chibis, so I decided to draw the 2nd-in-commands from Paranormal Sectus I and II. The old character sheets really burned my eyes.

Ruegen and Eugen are from a large dysfunctional family who dabbles in science and the paranormal, so things like these are normal for them. When they were really young, Ruegen was stupid and he accidentally slashed Eugen's right eye with some sort of exotic knife (it was SHINY). He felt really bad and devastated that his little brother's right eye was gone..

Since normal doctors couldn't give him an eye and Eugen was scared of glass eyes, Ruegen went out and fucking stole Archaia's pet totem pole (long story) which was used for healing units. He didn't do it on his own, the totem pole hated it's owner too so it used Ruegen as a fighting vassal to escape. Atrosia managed to restore Eugen's eye but his sight cannot be restored. ;n; That made Atrosia feel inferior so he studied to become a doctor. </angst totem pole>

While Eugen was recovering from his injuries, his parents put him under the care of a laser mannequin unit. They dressed it up so Eugen won't feel intimidated by it (he was particular about omgnew things). He called it Hayden and after he graduated, Eugen modified and upgraded it into a killing machine as a thank-you present for being there for him. <8D Hayden's AI is scripted by Hippocrates and Eugen.

Atrosia is in charge of healing the ghosts/spirits that serve Ruegen. He's a handy killer of the Archaian ghosthounds. Archaia vowed to kill Ruegen for stealing his totem pole because he hates thievery. Atrosia vowed never to return because Archaia is a horrible owner and a slave driver. Hayden is in charge of supervising all the units in the Evista Catacombia during Eugen's absence. He is a stern and bitchy unit who is full of sarcastic remarks.. (his newest core was a gift from Hippocrates, go figure). After the success of the new Convexia pulse laser, he learned to manipulate them as arms and weapons.
