The Absence of Suffering

One of the proposed covers for the 6th book. This one got approved on Wednesday so I was allowed to upload the concept sketch here. I have to draw a proper one soon.

This cover portrays a significant time in Epicurus' beginning. From the start, Epicurus was supposed to be a unit of three commanders cloned from Hippocrates' [link] DNA. The project was codenamed 'Cerberus' and on the day of the unveiling, the Chaos scientists found a gory sight. The clones provoked one another and starting fighting among themselves. One was beheaded and one got it's vital organs damaged. Only one survived.

Epicurus was born in a painful environment, the ordeal has twisted him to believe that people were calculative creatures, since he saw that the placement of the clones was on purpose. He chose his uniform colour to be red, signifying his bloodshed in the cloning vats and the celebration of living. His arm and eye were replaced. He kept his polite demeanor which masked his crudeness, for the higher ranking clones of Chaos were never meant to instill fear in the public. Years later, Epicurus evolved into the tree-loving, people manipulating terrorist that everyone hates. 8D
