Ohshi- I got motivated to do something for once. I saw the SDL from two deviants' journals and I was tempted to join. I edited XIX for dueler format, that means no more shadows bothering him, hahaa. XD It's set in Japan's feudal era..which I am not familiar with zomfg..

Origin :
Was born and raised in Japan for 15 years, he went to live with his father in Britain when he was 16.

Age : 20.

Height : 5’6’’

Weight : 60 kg

Weapons:
1. His default weapon is the Ranzatsu, a sword of the working class people in his society.

2. An old woman from the Fukosei cult gave him a bunny and an old ceremonial blade for his 18th birthday. He named it Charlotte. (after the girl who dumped him 8D)

3. He’s an attention whore with people he knows well. Sometimes he makes an effort to be noisy. He hits people with his megaphone when he is disarmed.

Background:
XIX was mostly raised in Japan and lived with his parents, his father was a British man who moved back to his country to settle political affairs, He told his wife not to name their child under the orders of their aristocratic society. He was named after his parents’ lucky number. XIX learned most of his sword skills from his father and the ceremonial skills of the propagandists from his mother. He was taught to dress properly and would often try to look his best, he was trained to be loyal to any regime or organization that he serves.

He came to Japan to avenge the death of his mother and is currently looking for a place to stay. XIX is also on the lookout for political enemies of his father’s regime. He’s very superstitious.

Abilities:
He can talk to almost anyone because of his sociable nature and get them to do his bidding with ease. He’s a skilled thief as well, he never told his parents.

Likes:
Attention, desserts, tea and old weapons.

Dislikes:
Black cats, people interrupting him when he speaks and his shadow.

Fighting style:
He relies on his environment to defeat his foes and opponents. His weakness in offensive skills causes him to be creative and random with his ways of attack (sometimes he hurls Charlotte at his opponent), he never relies on his blades alone. His skills are difficult to be gauged because he is not consistent. Truth be told, the blades are for defensive purposes (and to look intimidating), he’d rather knock people out with his heavy megaphone. (it’s amusing 8D).
Fighting with XIX requires the opponent to be focused at all times, it is easy to get confused because he is often speaking and yelling at no one in particular when he’s in battle.

Odds and ends:
XIX suffers from hallucinations which were guilt-induced from killing off four of his colleagues. He thinks they are still following him around as shadows. He is often seen talking to his shadow in an irritated manner, oblivious to how people perceive him.
